Serengetti NP - South

By lunch time we had reached the Serengeti gates and had our lunch boxes in the car park - we should have had lunch in the picnic ground but it was crowded so while Marko went to pay the park entrance fees we decided to eat in the car park. He had a litle panic when he couldn't find us in the picnic ground.

A Mjusi Kafiri Lizard

One of the many vultures

We were lucky to see a lion stalking a warthog through the long grass

The warthog won the race and lived another day.  The lion skulked off

Here's a couple of rhinos minding their own business

Once again we were lucky when Marco spotted a leopard in a tree

An eagle - can't remember what kind

One of the spare wheel carriers - A casualty of the rough roads
